Phuket is making all the preparations for New Normal Tourism. Entrepreneurs need to improve hygiene standards and meet the requirements of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Ministry of Public Health.

A multi-screening process is being carried out at checkpoints in collaboration with the provincial health authorities, while security measures for water, air and land transport have been tightened to ensure everyone is sure that Phuket is a safe destination.

Mr. Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, TCEB President, said: “We will show the world that Thailand is ready to host international events again after the death of COVID-19 and to serve Phuket as a festival city.”

TBEX Asia 2021 will highlight art, cultural diversity, venues, food and ways of life not just in Phuket but throughout the region of southern Thailand.

Mr. Nithee Seeprae, TAT Executive Director for Promotion and Public Relations (see photo above) said: “Participants in TBEX Asia 2021 will discover the charm and diversity of Phuket that cannot be found anywhere else. As this grand event will take place during challenging times, the honor of hosting this event is an encouraging sign of the confidence and potential of Thailand. “

In order to strengthen the trust of the media and international bloggers coming to Thailand for TBEX Asia 2021, TCEB, TAT and Phuket organized an “inspection trip for media and bloggers” to Phuket from October 6th to 8th, 2020. The three day program highlights Phuket’s diverse attractions and activities range from beautiful ocean and beaches to delicious local food, street art, adventure and charming communities.
